Morimoto Supercharged LED Drivers — XB Evo / XB Evo Hybrid, Toyota 4Runner (2014–2024)

Morimoto's standard LED drivers deliberately hold the XB Evo and XB Evo Hybrid headlights just under the maximum output allowed for DOT compliance. These Supercharged drivers replace them and push light output 30–50% higher.

They are a bolt-on swap that connects through the existing XB Evo / XB Evo Hybrid multi-pin connector, and fitting them does not affect the reliability or the warranty of your Morimoto headlights. The resulting peak intensity is non-compliant, so they are intended for off-road use.

Are they street legal?

No. The standard drivers are designed to hold output just below the maximum limits so the headlights stay DOT compliant. The Supercharged drivers push peak intensity past that point, which makes them non-compliant and suitable for off-road use only.

Which headlights do they work with?
