It's an add-on for the Big Days Chase Rack System, not a standalone rack: configure it into your build and the plate mounts across the rack behind the cab, with a MOLLE grid for tools and accessories and a center cutout that keeps your rear-view mirror sightline open.

Install is a no-drill job: the included T-track hardware fastens the panel to the rack in minutes, with no holes in your bed or your rack. It will not work as a headache rack on its own or on other manufacturers' racks — the Chase Rack System is the platform it's built for. Don't have the rack yet? Start with the Base Rack — fitment runs by bed size, 4'10" beds and up with the tailgate closed — then round out the crossbar with the Hi Lift Jack Mount or an In-Bed Moto Ramp.
Headache Rack Pro FAQs
Can I run the Headache Rack Pro without a chase rack?
No. It's an add-on mount for the Big Days Chase Rack System, and Big Days is explicit that it will not work as a headache rack on its own. It also isn't compatible with other manufacturers' racks — the base Chase Rack is sold separately.
Does installation require drilling?
No drilling into the bed or the rack. The included T-track hardware and mounting brackets fasten the plate to the Chase Rack System, and Big Days puts the install at minutes. Since nothing gets drilled, your truck bed stays unmodified, and the panel can come back off just as cleanly if you change your setup.
What do the MOLLE panel and center cutout actually do for me?
The MOLLE grid gives you standard webbing real estate for mounting tools and accessories right behind the cab, while the 1/4-inch laser-cut aluminum plate shields the back window from shifting cargo. The center cutout is deliberate — it keeps your rear-view mirror sightline open instead of walling it off.
