A tonneau cover and a chase rack don't have to be an either/or. This T-Track Mounting Kit supplies every piece of hardware needed to mount a Big Days Chase Rack System on a tonneau cover with an integrated accessory T-Track. The rack's mounts slide directly into the cover's track — no drilling into the bed — and the cover keeps opening and closing without interference. That means dirt bikes and mountain bikes ride up top while tools, camp gear, and luggage stay locked away and dry underneath.
Features
- Complete hardware kit for mounting a Big Days Chase Rack System to a T-Track tonneau cover
- Hardware slides directly into the cover's accessory T-Track channel
- No drilling into the bed or the cover
- Cover still opens and closes with the rack installed
- Compatible with the RetraxPRO XR, RetraxONE XR, Roll-N-Lock E-Series, and other covers with an accessory T-Track
Compatibility is simple: if your cover has an exposed accessory T-Track rail, this kit ties the rack into it. No T-Track? Use the Non T-Track Bolt-On Kit to bolt the rack to the bed instead. And remember, Big Days racks fit by truck bed size rather than year, make, and model — see complete setups in our chase rack collection.
Tonneau Cover T-Track Mounting Kit FAQs
Which tonneau covers is this kit compatible with?
Any tonneau cover with an accessory T-Track channel. Big Days specifically names the RetraxPRO XR, RetraxONE XR, and Roll-N-Lock E-Series, but any cover with an exposed T-slot rail qualifies. If your cover has no T-Track, use the Non T-Track Bolt-On Kit, which bolts the rack to the bed instead.
Can I still open my tonneau cover with the rack installed?
Yes. With the T-Track mount, the cover keeps opening and closing normally once the rack is installed. The one caveat comes with bike builds, which use a lower crossbar in the bed — that bar has to come out before the cover can open, then goes back in when it's time to load bikes.
Does installing this kit require drilling?
No. The mounting hardware slides directly into the cover's T-Track, so the rack attaches without drilling into the bed or the cover. That's the main advantage over the bolt-on method used for non-T-Track covers, which requires drilling holes in the truck bed.
