Coachbuilder +2" Shackle Kit | 1.25" Rear Lift | Fits Toyota Tundra 2007–2021 Including TRD Pro | Ekstrom Design
Coachbuilder +2″ Shackle Kit — Toyota Tundra (2007–2021, incl. TRD Pro)
Rear sag is the 2007–2021 Tundra’s tell — load the bed or drop a trailer on the hitch and the tail sits down while the headlights aim high. This kit adds 1.25″ of actual rear lift, measured at the axle, to bring a squatting tail back in line and put composure back into the rear end under load. The shackles are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum to replace the flexy factory stampings, fit every 2007–2021 Tundra including TRD Pro, and are made in the USA.

How much lift does it actually add?
1.25″ of real rear lift, measured at the axle. Coachbuilder rates lift honestly rather than by shackle length alone.
Does it fit the TRD Pro?
Yes — it fits every 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra, including the TRD Pro, and clears the TRD dual exhaust and full-size spare.
Will it work with my shocks?
Yes — it’s compatible with ADS, Bilstein 5100/5160, Fox, Icon, King, OME, and TRD Pro shocks, and works with an OE or any aftermarket leaf pack.
Do I need a carrier-bearing drop?
It’s included. A drop kit sized for the shackles comes in the box to keep driveline angles correct.
How long is the install?
About 45–60 minutes on the ground. Shackle bolts torque to 70 ft-lbs and the drop kit to 25 ft-lbs.

Coachbuilder +2" Shackle Kit | 1.25" Rear Lift | Fits Toyota Tundra 2007–2021 Including TRD Pro | Ekstrom Design FAQs
I ordered a +2" shackle — why is the lift only 1.25"?
That's the geometry doing its job. The shackle hangs at an angle and swings as the leaf spring compresses, so added shackle length translates to roughly two-thirds of that in vertical lift at the axle. On a 2007-2021 Tundra the +2" shackle produces 1.25" of actual lift — Coachbuilder publishes the real number so you can size your stance accurately instead of guessing.
How do I know if 1.25" is the right amount of lift for my truck?
Use Coachbuilder's sizing method. Park on a flat, level surface and measure from the center of the front and rear wheel openings to the ground. Then jack the rear up at the tow hitch until you like the stance — or until the rear sits at least .750" higher than the front — and measure again. The difference between the two measurements is exactly how much lift you need; if it lands near 1.25", the +2" kit is your size.
Does the kit include everything, or do I need a carrier bearing drop kit separately?
Everything is in the box for a 2007-2021 Tundra: the +2" shackle pair, graphite poly bushings for the rear leaf spring eyelets, hardware, grease packs, an install guide, and a carrier bearing drop kit sized for the shackles. The drop kit mounts between the frame support and the carrier bearing and torques to 25 ft-lbs with the truck on the ground, keeping the driveline angle happy after the lift.
