Rear UCA & Trackbar Bracket Replacement for Jeep Wrangler TJ & LJ 1997-2006
The Artec Industries Rear UCA & Trackbar Bracket Replacement rebuilds the combined upper control arm and track bar mount on the rear axle of a Jeep Wrangler TJ (1997-2006) or Unlimited LJ (2004-2006). The factory mount is thin stamped steel, and it is usually the first thing to crack, tear, or fold once a lift, larger tires, and hard trail miles start loading the rear suspension. This fabricated 1/4" steel bracket welds on in place of the OEM piece, restoring the stock pickup points and correct rear geometry in one reinforced unit. Will this bracket fit my Jeep?

Is welding required to install it?
Yes. The factory stamped bracket is cut off the rear axle housing and this 1/4" steel bracket is welded on in its place. That is structural welding on a suspension pickup point, so it should be handled by a professional welder, and the fresh welds should be primed and painted afterward.
