Vented Inner Fenders for Jeep Wrangler TJ/LJ 1997-2006

$199.00

These vented inner fenders replace the flimsy factory liners on a Wrangler TJ or LJ with a high-clearance pair built for lifted, hard-working Jeeps. Slow, high-load crawling builds heat under the hood with almost no airflow to carry it out; the venting in these liners gives that heat a way to escape while the panels keep mud, water, and rock spray off the engine and accessories. The high-clearance shape also frees up room for larger tires and suspension up-travel. They are formed to match TJ/LJ body contours and designed to integrate with Artec's TJ high-clearance front fenders.

Features

  • Built-in venting lets under-hood heat escape during slow, high-load trail work
  • High-clearance shape makes room for bigger tires and more up-travel
  • Shields the engine bay and accessories from mud, water, and debris
  • Custom-built to integrate with Artec's TJ 3.5" high-clearance front fenders (TJ2022)
  • Bolt-on installation with included instructions
  • Precision-formed to TJ/LJ body contours
  • Made in the USA

Fits the Jeep Wrangler TJ and LJ, 1997-2006. Because of factory body variances, plan on possible light trimming or shifting the battery tray back slightly during install. They give the cleanest result paired with Artec's high-clearance front fenders. While you are armoring the body, look at the TJ Standard Rear Corner Armor and LJ Rear Corner Armor, or browse the armor collection and fenders and flares.

Vented Inner Fenders for Jeep Wrangler TJ/LJ 1997-2006 FAQs

Which Jeeps do these inner fenders fit?

The Jeep Wrangler TJ and long-wheelbase LJ Unlimited, 1997-2006. They are formed to the TJ/LJ body contours and are custom-built to integrate with Artec's TJ 3.5" high-clearance front fenders (TJ2022), which is the recommended pairing for a complete high-clearance front end.

Will they bolt straight on, or is modification needed?

They are a bolt-on part with included instructions, but factory body variances mean the install may call for light trimming or shifting the battery tray back slightly for clearance. Plan for a test fit before final hardware torque and keep a trim tool handy.

Why would I want vented inner fenders?

Slow, high-load off-road driving builds engine heat with very little airflow to remove it. The built-in venting gives that hot air an exit path, helping keep temperatures in check on long crawls, while the liners still block mud, water, and debris from packing into the engine bay.
