The Coachbuilder Polyurethane Bushing Kit replaces the rubber bushings in the rear leaf spring eyelets of 2007–2021 Toyota Tundras with a polyurethane compound that has graphite added — firm enough to control the spring, slick enough to pivot without the squeak poly is infamous for. Manufactured by Energy Suspension and CNC machined for less friction and a precise fit, the bushings are designed to give the leaf pack a smooth, controlled pivot. One hard rule from the manufacturer: these go in the spring eyelets only — do not use them in the frame rail.

Why can't I use these bushings in the frame rail?
Because the manufacturer says so, in underline: do not use in the frame rail. This kit is machined specifically for the rear leaf spring eyelet positions on 2007-2021 Toyota Tundras — the frame rail bushing location is a different job with different requirements. Install these at the spring eyelets only and leave the frame rail position alone.
Will they work with my aftermarket leaf springs?
In most cases, yes — the kit is compatible with most aftermarket leaf spring packs as well as the factory springs on 2007-2021 Tundras. To install, press the old rubber bushings out of the spring eyelets (a ball joint press makes quick work of it), grease all outer surfaces of the new bushings and sleeves with the supplied pack, and tap them in with a soft hammer.
Do I need this kit if I'm buying a Coachbuilder shackle kit?
No — every Coachbuilder shackle kit for the 2007-2021 Tundra already ships with a graphite poly bushing kit for the rear leaf spring eyelets. This standalone kit is for replacing bushings that have worn after years of service, or for upgrading the eyelet bushings on their own without changing your shackles.
