Coil Correction Plate for Jeep TJ Front Coil Springs (Pair)
Factory coil plates are flat, but the bottom of a coil spring is not — it curves, and forcing it onto a flat seat is why lifted Jeep TJ front springs bow sideways and load unevenly. Artec Industries' Coil Correction Plates are CNC laser-cut from 1/4" steel with a contoured surface that follows the spring's curvature, so the coil seats square and stays planted. Each plate welds onto the existing flat coil plate and can be clocked to any angle before burning it in, which lets you index the spring correctly on taller lifts. Sold as a pair and made in the USA, they are a small fix that cleans up ride height, spring load, and that leaning-coil look for good.
Features
- CNC laser-cut from 1/4" steel
- Contoured seat matches the coil's curvature to stop spring bowing
- Clockable to any angle before welding to index the spring on larger lifts
- 1/2" coarse-thread hole works directly with coil retainer plates
- Welds onto the existing flat coil plate — no bracket replacement needed
- Sold as a pair; made in the USA
These are built for Jeep TJ front coil springs, and per Artec they also work on Cherokee XJ and Grand Cherokee ZJ builds running a Dana 60; for a rear application on a lifted TJ, use the TJ Rear Coil Correction Kit instead. They ship bare steel, so paint after welding. If the whole front bracket set is past saving, step up to the front axle coil bracket replacement, and find more spring hardware in the coil springs collection.
