Superduty Swap Aluminum Steering Kit for Jeep Wrangler JK, JL & Gladiator JT
This is Artec's complete tie rod and drag link package for Jeeps running a Ford Super Duty front axle on Reid Racing knuckles. The bars are 7075 aluminum with heavy 1.25" threaded rod ends, giving a one-ton front end the strength and adjustability it needs without the weight of solid steel links. Engineered from 3D scan files and validated through five years of rock crawling and daily driving, it ties a Super Duty swap's steering together the right way.
Features
- 7075 aluminum tie rod and drag link bars keep steering weight down
- 1.25" threaded rod ends at all four positions for big-tire durability
- Right- and left-hand threads make toe and drag link adjustment simple
- Machined wrench flats for clean, easy tightening
- Drag link end supplied in the correct taper for JK or JL/JT pitman arms
- CNC laser-cut and CNC-bent components, made in the USA
Choose the Jeep JK variant for 2007-2018 Wranglers or the JL/JT variant for 2018+ Wranglers and 2020+ Gladiators — the difference is the pitman-arm taper. It is built around Reid Racing Super Duty knuckles, so verify your knuckles first. Dial in arm height with the Superduty High Steer Cap-Spacer, match your rod ends with the Spacer Adapters, and if you are still building the axle, start with the 1 Ton Apex Front Superduty Swap Kit. More linkage options in tie rods.

Superduty Swap Aluminum Steering Kit for Jeep Wrangler JK, JL & Gladiator JT FAQs
What knuckles does this kit require?
It is built for Ford Super Duty front axles running Reid Racing Super Duty knuckles under a Jeep JK, JL, or Gladiator JT. Confirm your knuckles before ordering — the geometry and rod end fitment are designed around the Reid castings.
Which variant do I order?
Pick the Jeep JK version for 2007-2018 Wranglers or the JL/JT version for 2018+ Wranglers and 2020+ Gladiators. The kits differ in the drag link taper at the pitman arm, so match the variant to the platform steering box you are running.
What else do I need to finish the steering?
Most builds add the Superduty High Steer Cap-Spacer to set arm height and the correct spacer adapters for your tie rod ends. If the axle itself is not done, Artec's 1 Ton Apex Front Superduty swap kits handle the truss and bracketry side of the project.
