Superduty Full Hydro Tie Rod Kit with 7/8" JMX Rod Ends
This kit is the linkage half of a Ford Super Duty Dana 60 full-hydraulic steering system. It pairs JMX 7/8" chromoly heims in both 3/4" and 7/8" bores with short 1.5" DOM links, tube adapters, and jam nuts to tie the knuckles to a double-ended ram. It is matched to Artec's Superduty full-hydro weld-on high steer arms and the Superduty 60 full-hydro ram mount, so the whole system bolts together with joints that carry a 41,500 lb static rating instead of cobbled-together parts.
Features
- Two JMX 7/8"-14 tpi x 3/4" bore chromoly heims (1 RH, 1 LH)
- Two JMX 7/8"-14 tpi x 7/8" bore chromoly heims (1 RH, 1 LH)
- Four 7/8"-14 tpi tube adapters and four jam nuts (RH and LH)
- Two pairs of short 7/8"-to-3/4" high-misalignment spacers
- Two 1.5" OD x .250" wall 1026 DOM links, 10" long, cut to fit
- Made in the USA
It is designed around a PSC double-ended hydraulic ram; trimming the DOM links and welding the tube adapters are part of assembly, so fabrication and welding skills are required. Complete the system with the 05+ or 99-04 Full Hydro Weld-On High Steer Arms and the Superduty 60 Full Hydro Ram Mount, or browse more hydraulic steering kits.

Superduty Full Hydro Tie Rod Kit with 7/8" JMX Rod Ends FAQs
What steering system is this kit built for?
A Ford Super Duty Dana 60 running full-hydraulic steering. It is matched to Artec's Superduty full-hydro weld-on high steer arms, the Superduty 60 full-hydro ram mount, and a PSC double-ended hydraulic ram — together those parts make the complete system.
Why are there two different heim bores?
The kit includes two JMX 7/8"-14 tpi heims with a 3/4" bore and two with a 7/8" bore, each in right- and left-hand thread. The different bores match the studs on the high steer arms and the ram ends, so every joint gets a properly sized pin.
Is welding required to assemble it?
Yes. The 10" DOM links are cut or trimmed to your final length and the tube adapters are welded into them, and the matching high steer arms are themselves weld-on parts. If you are not a confident welder, have a fabrication shop handle it.
