Super Duty Dana 60 Full Hydro Ram Mount
A full-hydro steering conversion on a Ford Super Duty Dana 60 lives or dies by how the ram is mounted, and this Artec Industries mount solves it while armoring the axle at the same time. Built from 1/4" mild steel, it clamps a double-ended hydraulic ram to the front of the housing and doubles as an axle skid that shields the ram and tie rod from rock strikes while spanning the tube to resist bending and shearing. It fits both 1999-2004 and 2005-and-up Super Duty front 60s and is the mounting foundation for a Super Duty full-hydro setup.

Installation is serious fabrication work: the mount welds to the housing, and the driver side requires trimming roughly 2" of housing casting, so only a competent welder should take it on — mock up the ram and tie rod alignment before tack welding. Which axles does this mount fit?

What hydraulic rams will it accept?
It is engineered around PSC Motorsports and Howe Performance double-ended rams in 2.5" and 2.75" cylinder diameters, with mounting blocks that center and secure the cylinder. You supply the ram, hoses, and the rest of the hydraulic system — this is the mount and skid only.
How involved is the installation?
This is a fabrication-level job. The mount welds to the housing, the driver side requires trimming roughly 2" of housing casting, and the ram shaft must be mocked up in line with the tie rod before anything is tacked. Only a competent welder should install it, and the bare steel needs primer and paint afterward.
