Crossover Weld-On High Steer Arms for 2005+ Ford Super Duty

$318.99

A Super Duty 60 swap puts the factory steering points in the wrong place for a lifted, linked rig; these weld-on crossover arms fix that on 2005-and-newer Ford Super Duty Dana 60 knuckles. Raising the tie rod and drag link connections lets you run a straight, bend-free tie rod that clears even deep fabricated diff covers, and three assembly configurations let you tune the geometry to your build. Laser-cut from 1/4" steel, CNC-bent, and sold as a pair with hardware.

Features

  • Precision laser-cut 1/4" steel, CNC-bent for accurate knuckle fit
  • Straight tie rod path with clearance for deep differential covers
  • Three configuration variations to optimize your steering geometry
  • 3/4" bolt holes for uncompromising strength
  • Knuckle bolts and tapered spacers included
  • 2005-2010 knuckles trim an etched cast tab; 2011+ install without trimming

Welding to the cast knuckle is the critical step: Artec recommends heating the knuckle to roughly 400 degrees, welding with standard MIG wire, cooling slowly, and peening for stress relief — a job for an experienced fabricator, with paint on the bare steel afterward. Pair the arms with the Superduty Crossover Steering Kit and the Low Profile Ford Superduty Front Truss, or switch to the Full Hydro Weld-On High Steer Arms for ram steering. See all tie rods and steering.

Crossover Weld-On High Steer Arms for 2005+ Ford Super Duty FAQs

Which knuckle years do these fit?

They fit 2005-and-newer Ford Super Duty Dana 60 knuckles. On 2005-2010 castings a small etched cast tab gets trimmed off during install, while 2011+ knuckles require no trimming. For 1999-2004 axles, use Artec's dedicated 99-04 arms instead.

How should the arms be welded on?

Artec recommends preheating the cast knuckle to about 400 degrees, welding with standard MIG wire, letting it cool slowly, and peening the welds for stress relief. It is a job for an experienced welder or fabrication shop, and the bare steel should be painted afterward.

What linkage should I run with them?

Artec's Superduty Crossover Steering Kit with 7/8" JMX rod ends is built specifically for these arms, supplying the DOM tubing, heims, adapters, and spacers for the tie rod and drag link. Many builds also add the Low Profile Ford Superduty Front Truss on the same axle.
