Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the 6 LED version?
This 4 LED head is shorter (3.75" vs 4.36") and draws 2W instead of 3W, making it ideal for tighter mounting spots while keeping the same 19-pattern controller.
Do I need a separate LED controller?
No. The controller is built into the strobe and provides 19 flash patterns with no external module.
How do I change the flash pattern?
Apply +12V to the yellow control wire: a pulse under one second advances to the next pattern, a pulse over one second returns to the previous pattern, and holding it for more than five seconds resets to the default random pattern.
Is it street legal?
It carries ECE R10 Class 1 certification for electromagnetic compatibility. Colored emergency strobes are regulated on public roads, so confirm your state and local laws before use.
