How to make a M.O.R.E. warranty claim
- Get a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number first; M.O.R.E. won't accept a warranty return without one
- Have a copy of your original receipt showing where you bought it, the date and the price paid
- Ship the part back freight prepaid and insured, following the instructions from the dealer you bought it from

The factory shield under the front of a Gladiator is 16 gauge (.062") sheet, and it sits right below the electronic sway bar disconnect motor — not a part you want to replace after one bad rock. M.O.R.E.'s front skid plate swaps that shield for 3/16" steel plate, powder coated black, so the disconnect motor gets real armor instead of a thin stamping.
It bolts up with no drilling. You also get a choice on looks: keep the stock plastic shield in place for a factory appearance, or leave it off and let the steel show. M.O.R.E. lists the plate at about 17 lb, so it adds protection without turning the front end into a boat anchor.
Like the rest of the M.O.R.E. lineup, it is built in-house in Delta, Colorado — laser cut, designed in 3D CAD and made in the USA. It fits the Jeep Gladiator JT from 2020 on.
Install tip: get the truck on level ground, support the plate while you start the bolts, and torque to spec. Re-check the hardware after the first trail run, since skid bolts take the first hits.

Do I have to drill anything?
No. M.O.R.E. designed this skid plate as a bolt-on with no drilling required.
Can I keep the factory plastic shield?
Yes. You can reinstall the stock plastic shield for the factory look, or leave it off for a more aftermarket appearance.
What does it protect?
It covers the electronic sway bar disconnect motor with 3/16" steel in place of the 16 gauge factory shield.
What does the warranty cover?
M.O.R.E.'s RockProof Lifetime Warranty covers product failure for the original retail purchaser for as long as they own the vehicle. Powder coat and other finishes, rubber and urethane are wear items and are not covered, and neither are install labor, shipping, altered parts or wrong-vehicle installs.
