A stock Gladiator has no real armor under the oil pan and transmission. This one-piece combination skid covers both, plus the exhaust crossover tube, which is easy to flatten on rocks.
It is made from 1/4 inch aluminum plate and weighs about 36 pounds; M.O.R.E. also makes it in 3/16 inch steel at about 54 pounds. Aluminum saves weight; the steel version adds about 18 pounds. An oil drain access with a V-shaped catch lets you change oil without pulling the skid, slide washers are included, and it mounts at factory bolt locations, replacing the thin factory plate.
It fits 2020+ Jeep Gladiator JT with the 3.6L V6 and the factory exhaust. M.O.R.E. recommends at least a 2.5 inch lift for driveshaft clearance. If you run an aftermarket front axle, check clearance at full stuff on the driver's side; the fins on the center section may need trimming.
Lead time: M.O.R.E. makes aluminum skid plates to order and quotes up to 10 business days for bare aluminum. M.O.R.E. has been building off-road parts in Delta, Colorado since Chris Overacker started the company in his garage in 1978. Parts are designed in 3D CAD, cut on Mazak lasers and welded by certified welders, all in-house in the USA.
