Weld-On UCA Brackets for Artec Low Pro Front Truss

$159.99

These weld-on brackets add a JK/TJ-style upper control arm mount to the top of an Artec Low Profile Front Truss, so a swapped-in one-ton front axle can run the same proven upper link geometry your Jeep left the factory with. Instead of guessing at bracket placement on a fabricated axle, the Low Pro truss carries an etched center-line that locates the joint at the correct position and angle before you strike an arc. Each kit ships with your choice of joint hardware, ready to weld and assemble.

Features

  • Recreates the factory JK/TJ upper control arm mounting style on a trussed axle
  • CNC laser cut and bent 1/4" steel for accurate fit-up on the truss
  • Etched center-line on the Low Pro truss locates the bracket at the right spot and angle
  • Available with 1/2" or 7/16" bolt holes to match your control arm hardware
  • Choice of Daystar polyurethane bushings or RockJock Johnny Joints included
  • Full welding of every seam is required for a mount that carries axle loads

These brackets are not a stand-alone mount — they weld to the top of an Artec Low Profile Front Truss such as the Low Profile Ford SuperDuty Front Truss or the Low Profile Front Truss for Ultimate Dana 60. Pick the bolt-hole size that matches your upper joint's through-bolt, and have the welding done by someone with fabrication experience. Weld-On UCA Brackets for Artec Low Pro Front Truss FAQs

Can I use these brackets without an Artec truss?

No. They are shaped to weld to the top of an Artec Low Profile Front Truss, which also carries the etched center-line used to locate the joint at the correct position and angle. On a bare axle tube they have nothing to register against.

Which bolt-hole size should I order?

Match the through-bolt of your upper control arm joint: order 1/2" if your joint uses a 1/2" bolt, 7/16" if it uses 7/16". Both sizes are offered with either Daystar bushings or RockJock Johnny Joints, so the bracket arrives with joint hardware that fits.

How involved is the installation?

This is a fabrication job. The brackets position on the truss using the etched center-line, get tacked with your control arm geometry verified, and then every seam must be fully welded — an incompletely welded UCA mount can fail under axle loads. Plan on professional-level welding skills or a qualified shop.
