Aluminum Mid Arm Kit for Jeep Gladiator JT 2020+
The JT Aluminum Mid Arm Kit is Artec's full control arm and link package for the Jeep Gladiator, built around 2.0" OD 7075-T6 polished aluminum links and Rock Krawler joints. A Gladiator on a serious lift outgrows its stamped factory arms fast: fixed lengths mean caster and pinion angle stay wrong, and steel replacement links pile weight onto an already heavy truck. After years of validating 7075 aluminum in the ARTECON test rig through extreme rock crawling and daily driving, Artec built this kit to shed rotating and unsprung weight while surviving the same abuse. Threaded, adjustable ends let you dial in caster, pinion angle, and wheelbase during setup.
Features
- Four 2.0" OD 7075-T6 polished aluminum lower links
- Two 2.0" OD 7075-T6 polished aluminum upper links
- Two Rock Krawler solid steel front upper control arms with joints
- Twelve Rock Krawler joints (6 RH, 6 LH), 1.25"-12 tpi with 5/8" bore, plus matching jam nuts
- Threaded ends with wrench flats for fine-tuning geometry on the truck
- Aerospace-grade aluminum resists corrosion, so no repainting after trail seasons
- Confirmed by Artec for lifts in the 4.5" range
Fits the Jeep Gladiator JT (2020+) running mid-arm suspension geometry. A full conversion typically also needs Artec's HD Crossmember with Link Mounts, a frame-mount bracket, and truss upper link mounts, all sold separately; measure each factory arm center-to-center and match the new links before your alignment. Pair it with the JL-JT APEX Front Axle Truss for upper link mounting on the front axle. Running a Wrangler instead? Aluminum Mid Arm Kit for Jeep Gladiator JT 2020+ FAQs
What lift height does this kit work with?
Artec confirms the kit for lifts in the 4.5" range on the Gladiator JT. The threaded, double-ended links adjust to fine-tune caster, pinion angle, and wheelbase at that height. Measure each factory arm center-to-center and set the new links to match as your starting point, then align.
Do I need other parts to complete the conversion?
Typically yes. A full mid-arm conversion generally also uses Artec's HD Crossmember with Link Mounts, a frame-mount bracket, and truss upper link mounts on the axle, all sold separately. The kit itself supplies all six aluminum links, the two Rock Krawler steel front uppers, and every joint and jam nut.
Why are the front uppers steel when everything else is aluminum?
The 7075-T6 aluminum links cut weight where it matters most, while the Rock Krawler solid steel front upper control arms handle the concentrated loads at the front upper mounts. It is the same mixed-material approach Artec validated over years of ARTECON rock crawling and daily driving.
