This pair of RockJock Johnny Joints drops into Artec's TJ3002-1 upper control arm brackets, giving a trussed Dana 30 or Rubicon Dana 44 front axle a rebuildable flex joint at the upper arm instead of a pressed bushing. On a hard-flexing front end the upper joint works through constant misalignment; a Johnny Joint absorbs that articulation and, when it eventually wears, gets rebuilt rather than cut out and replaced. The set includes one CE-9112 and one CE-9112M joint sized for the bracket.
Features
- Genuine RockJock Johnny Joints: one CE-9112 and one CE-9112M
- Sized specifically for Artec TJ3002-1 upper control arm brackets
- Handles the articulation and misalignment of a trussed front axle
- Fully rebuildable — service the joint instead of replacing the assembly
- Upgrade path over a bushing for rigs that flex hard
These joints require the Artec UCA brackets (TJ3002-1), which are used with Artec Dana 30 and Rubicon Dana 44 trusses on TJ, LJ, XJ, MJ, and ZJ platforms — the brackets are not included here. They are also the joint option offered on the TJ Front Axle UCA Replacement. If you would rather run a quiet, greaseable poly bushing, see the Daystar Bushing for UCA Brackets, or shop the full range of control arm components.

Johnny Joints for Artec UCA Brackets FAQs
What exactly is included?
One CE-9112 and one CE-9112M RockJock Johnny Joint, sized for the Artec TJ3002-1 upper control arm brackets. The brackets themselves are not included — you need to already own them or order them separately.
Do I need Artec brackets to use these joints?
Yes. These joints are dimensioned for the Artec TJ3002-1 UCA brackets used with Artec Dana 30 and Rubicon Dana 44 trusses on TJ, LJ, XJ, MJ, and ZJ platform builds. In other brackets the fit is not guaranteed.
Why choose Johnny Joints over the Daystar bushing?
A Johnny Joint offers more articulation and misalignment capacity, which matters on a front axle that sees serious flex, and it can be rebuilt when it wears instead of replaced. The Daystar bushing is quieter, cheaper, and lower maintenance for milder builds. Both options fit the same Artec UCA brackets.
