Protection Package for Jeep Wrangler JLU 392: Bellypan, CAD Skid & Rear LCA Skids
A 470-horsepower Wrangler deserves better than stamped factory tin between its drivetrain and the rocks, and this Artec Industries package armors the 4-door JLU 392 Hemi (2021+) from bumper to bumper underneath. The core is Artec's full 392 bellypan — 1/4" 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminum skids on 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets, laid out with no overlapping plates to cover the oil and transmission pans, transfer case, fuel tank, and the 392's exhaust routing. Riding along free are the front CAD skid for the axle disconnect motor, a pair of rear LCA skids for the control-arm joints, an Artec hat, and a $100 instant rebate. Aluminum keeps the added weight sensible on a Jeep that already carries a heavy drivetrain.
Features
- Full 392-specific bellypan in 1/4" 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminum
- 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets form a rigid, corrosion-resistant substructure
- Coverage engineered around the 392 Hemi's exhaust as well as the pans, transfer case, and fuel tank
- No-overlap plate layout with easy-remove access panels for service
- Free front CAD skid: 1/4" fully welded, powder-coated steel over the axle disconnect motor
- Free rear LCA skid pair in 1/4" boxed steel plate for the control-arm brackets and joints
- Bolt-on install with countersunk hardware matching OEM threads; made in the USA
- Free Artec hat plus a $100 instant rebate on the bundle
Fitment is specific: this is the package for the 4-door JLU with the 6.4L 392 Hemi, 2021 and up, and the exhaust coverage will not translate to other engines — JLU owners with the V6 should look at the JLU 3.6L 2021+ Protection Package and diesel owners at the JLU EcoDiesel Protection Package. Nothing here needs a welder. Browse the rest of our skid plates for complementary armor.

Protection Package for Jeep Wrangler JLU 392: Bellypan, CAD Skid & Rear LCA Skids FAQs
Is this package only for the 392 Hemi?
Yes. The bellypan's plate shapes and exhaust coverage are cut specifically for the 4-door JLU 392 Hemi, 2021 and up. Other engines route their exhaust and mount their pans differently, so Artec builds separate protection packages for the 2.0L turbo, 3.6L V6, and 3.0L EcoDiesel — match your engine to the right listing.
How hard is the install?
It is entirely bolt-on. The bellypan mounts through 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets using countersunk bolts that match OEM thread pitch, and the free CAD skid and rear LCA skids bolt up as well. No welding, no cutting — a well-equipped home garage can handle it.
Why aluminum instead of steel for a heavy V8 Jeep?
Because the 392 already carries a lot of drivetrain weight, the 1/4" 6061-T6 plates are heat-treated for impact strength while staying far lighter than equivalent steel coverage. The mounting structure stays steel — 3/16" zinc-plated brackets — so you get stiffness where it matters without piling on sprung weight.
