Long Arm Rear LCA Frame Brackets for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018 (Pair)
Moving a Jeep Wrangler JK to a rear long-arm suspension starts at the frame, and these are the lower control arm frame brackets Artec Industries runs on its own builds. Each bracket is CNC laser cut and bent from 3D scans of the JK frame, so it nests into the factory contours and self-locates — no measuring a dozen times and hoping the mount landed square. Once positioned, it welds to both the bottom and the side of the frame rail for a joint supported in two planes, ready for a radius-arm-style long arm or a 3-link rear.
Features
- 1/4" boxed steel plate, CNC laser cut and bent from 3D scan data
- Contoured to nest into the factory JK frame for repeatable, accurate placement
- Welds along the bottom and side of the frame rail for two-plane strength
- 2.625" mounting width with a 9/16" bolt hole for Johnny, Flex, Ballistic and similar cartridge joints
- Bolt hole drills out for 1.25" rod ends with spacers
- Tapered sides and a joint wrap that shed obstacles instead of hanging up
- Grease-fitting access on top of the bracket
- Made in the USA
The factory rear lower control arm brackets come off first, and because the rear third of the frame is identical, the same pair fits 2-door and 4-door JKs from 2007-2018. This is structural welding on the frame — hand it to a professional if that is not your wheelhouse, and paint the bare steel when it cools. Finish the axle side with the JK Rear UCA Brackets and JK Rear LCA Brackets with Skids, or see more frame brackets and control arm components.

Long Arm Rear LCA Frame Brackets for Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018 (Pair) FAQs
Do I have to remove the factory brackets first?
Yes. The factory rear lower control arm brackets are cut off the frame, then these brackets nest into the frame contours in their place. Because they self-locate, placement is repeatable — but final welding to the bottom and side of the rail is structural work best done by a competent welder.
Will these fit a 2-door JK?
Yes. The rear third of the frame is identical between 2-door and 4-door models, so the same pair fits any 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK or JKU.
What suspension links can I run with them?
They support either a radius-arm-style long arm or a 3-link rear. The 2.625" mounting width and 9/16" bolt hole fit common cartridge joints such as Johnny Joint, Flex, and Ballistic, and the hole can be drilled out for 1.25" rod ends with spacers.
