When should I choose the narrow version over the standard 7/8" spacers?
Pick the narrow version when the mounting location is too tight for the standard 2.0" stack — steering links and cramped brackets are the usual cases. If your bracket has the room, the standard 7/8" spacers do the same job at the wider 2.0" width.
What does a high misalignment spacer actually do?
