Coachbuilder Front Bumper Shim Kit | .50" Forward for Tire Clearance | Fits Toyota Tundra 2007–2021 Including TRD Pro | Ekstrom Design

$97.75 $107.52

The Coachbuilder Front Bumper Shim Kit is the clean fix for the bumper and tire clearance problems that show up on a 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra — TRD Pro included — once a leveled front end meets larger tires. Four CNC-cut backing plates slide the factory bumper forward .50", opening the gap at the bumper flange and fender liner so nothing has to be trimmed or cut to stop the rub. Each plate is machined from solid T6 6061 billet aluminum and black anodized, so it will never corrode or break down under the truck. Just as important, the solid plates transfer impact energy into the frame rail crumple zones identically to the factory design, so the bumper keeps doing its job.

Features

  • Moves the front bumper forward .50" for added tire clearance — no cutting the bumper flange or plastic fender liner

  • Solid backing plates feed impact energy into the frame rail crumple zones just like the factory setup
  • Compatible with most bolt-on bull bars and push bars
  • Simple bolt-on install in 30–45 minutes
  • Includes four anodized backing plates
  • Made in the USA by Ekstrom Design

Coachbuilder Front Bumper Shim Kit | .50" Forward for Tire Clearance | Fits Toyota Tundra 2007–2021 Including TRD Pro | Ekstrom Design FAQs

Will this fit my 2019 Tundra TRD Pro?

Yes. The Front Bumper Shim Kit fits every 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra, TRD Pro included, and it's compatible with most bolt-on bull bars and push bars. It's also one of the components inside the complete Coachbuilder TRD PRO Kit, so if you already run that system you have it.

Do I have to cut my bumper or fender liner?

No — that's the whole point of the kit. The four billet backing plates slide the factory bumper forward .50", opening tire clearance at the bumper flange and plastic fender liner without any trimming. It's a straightforward bolt-on job that takes 30–45 minutes.

Does moving the bumper forward affect crash protection?

The kit is designed around exactly that concern. The solid T6 6061 billet backing plates transfer impact energy into the frame rail crumple zones identically to the factory design, so the bumper's structural function is preserved. The aluminum plates won't corrode or break down over time either.
