Coachbuilder Front Bump Stop Kit | Hyper-Flex Polyurethane, 88T Durometer | Fits Toyota Tundra 2007–2021 | Ekstrom Design
The Coachbuilder Front Bump Stop Kit for the 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra is cheap insurance for a lifted front end. Second-gen and 2.5-gen Tundras carrying a lift, a steel bumper, or a winch compress hard when the trail drops out from under them, and worn factory bump stops do little to stop the suspension from slamming through its travel. These performance stops are molded from Hyper-Flex polyurethane with an 88T durometer rating, built to cushion a collapsing suspension and prevent the bottoming-out and over-cycling that shorten the life of coilovers and beat on the frame. Coachbuilder recommends them for Tundras running 2.5"–4" of front lift on coilovers, loaded struts, or leveling spacers.
Features
- Direct kit for 2007–2021 Toyota Tundra with application-correct hardware included
- Hyper-Flex polyurethane, 88T durometer — outperforms the factory bump stops
- Cushions the last of the suspension travel to prevent harsh bottom-outs
- Guards coilovers, loaded struts, and the frame against full-compression damage
- Two round-head bump stops, each 1 7/8" tall by 2.25" in diameter
- Recommended for 2.5"–4" of front lift; works on taller lifts with the lift manufacturer's extension
On a newer truck? This kit also comes in a Tundra / Sequoia 2022–2025 version and a Tacoma / 4Runner / FJ Cruiser / Lexus GX version. Balancing the rear of the truck too? A Coachbuilder +2" shackle kit lifts the rear to match, or see all bump stops.

Will this fit my 2019 Tundra with a 3" front lift?
Yes on both counts. The kit fits 2007–2021 Toyota Tundras and is recommended for exactly that setup — 2.5"–4" of front lift from coilovers, loaded struts, or leveling spacers. It ships with the correct hardware for the Tundra application, and a 3" lift sits right in the middle of the recommended range.
Why upgrade bump stops after lifting?
Lifting changes where the suspension sits in its travel, so the factory bump stops no longer engage the way Toyota intended — and a heavy bumper or winch makes hard compression events even harder. These Hyper-Flex polyurethane stops, rated at 88T, cushion the suspension as it collapses, preventing the bottom-outs and over-cycling that damage coilovers and hammer the frame on 2007–2021 Tundras.
I have a 2022+ Tundra — is this the right kit?
Not this one. This listing covers the 2007–2021 Tundra; Coachbuilder makes a separate Front Bump Stop Kit for the 2022–2025 Tundra and Sequoia, and another for the 2005+ Tacoma, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, and Lexus GX. All three use the same 88T Hyper-Flex polyurethane stops — the difference is the application-specific hardware in the box.
