Cut from 3/16" plate and shaped to sit close against the frame of the Wrangler JK (2007-2018), Wrangler JL (2018+), and Gladiator JT (2020+), it clears obstacles the wide factory bumper drags across. Recovery points are reinforced and welded into the structure, cube-light mounts sit front and center, and a recessed winch mount option puts the winch behind a fairlead opening instead of hanging it out front. This version arrives finished in textured black powder coat over a zinc primer, so it goes straight from the box to the frame with no paint work.

Do I need to paint this bumper?
No. This version of the Sentinel ships finished in textured black powder coat applied over a zinc primer, so it is protected against corrosion out of the box. Bolt it on and go — only the bare-steel Sentinel needs paint or powder coat before use.
Which Jeep models does it fit?
The Sentinel fits the Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU (2007-2018), Wrangler JL/JLU (2018 and newer), and Gladiator JT (2020 and newer). It mounts to the factory frame horns with no drilling required, so installation is a bolt-on job with basic hand tools.
Is a winch mount included?
The bumper is winch-ready with a recessed mount location and a fairlead opening, but the winch plate is sold separately. Add the JL-JT Steel Bumper Winch Plate to run a winch, or fit the matching black powder coat block-off plate for a clean sealed face if you are skipping the winch.
