Front and Rear Truss Package for Jeep Gladiator JT 2020+ (Free Front Axle Skid)
Artec APEX Front & Rear Axle Truss Package — Jeep Gladiator JT (2020+)
The Gladiator’s factory axle housings were never sized for 40-inch tires — and they bend before most owners expect. This package reinforces both ends in one order: the complete APEX Front Axle Armor Kit (front truss, LCA skids, inner C gussets) plus the APEX Rear Axle Truss, with a free front axle skid to guard the disconnect. The APEX peaked-top profile is stiffer than a flat top while cutting welding work by roughly 70%.

What's in the package?
The complete APEX Front Axle Armor Kit (front truss, front LCA skids, inner C gussets), the APEX Rear Axle Truss, and a free front axle skid.
Which variant do I need?
Pick the JL4510-based variant for JT Rubicon (all markets), Sport MaxTow, and international JTs; pick the JL4511-based variant for US/Canada JT Sport and Overland.
Does it fit my Gladiator?
It fits 2020+ Jeep Gladiator JT on factory axles. It's not designed for Mojave, Extreme Recon, or aftermarket axles without modification.
Is welding required?
Yes — all trusses are bare-steel weld-on parts. Professional welding is required, including preheating the cast center sections, and the steel needs paint after install.
Why the APEX design?
The patent-pending peaked top is stiffer than a flat-top truss while cutting the welding workload by roughly 70% versus earlier Artec trusses.

Front and Rear Truss Package for Jeep Gladiator JT 2020+ (Free Front Axle Skid) FAQs
Which variant fits my Gladiator?
Match your trim. The JL4510-based kit covers the JT Rubicon (all markets), Sport MaxTow, and international JTs; the JL4511-based kit covers US/Canada JT Sport and Overland. Both fit factory Gladiator front and rear axles — Mojave, Extreme Recon, and aftermarket axles are not supported without modification.
How much welding is involved?
All the trusses and gussets are weld-on and should be installed by a competent welder, since the work includes welding to the cast center sections and inner Cs. Artec recommends preheating cast areas to about 400°F, alternating welds to limit warping, and letting the housing cool slowly. The APEX design still cuts total weld length by roughly 70% versus older trusses.
What is the free front axle skid?
The package includes the JL Shield CAD skid at no charge. It bolts over the front axle disconnect area — one of the most fragile spots on the JL/JT front axle — so the electronics that engage your front axle are shielded along with the housing itself. Note the trusses ship as bare steel and should be painted after welding.
