What do I need to mount an awning on my vehicle?
You need a solid attachment point, usually a roof rack or crossbars, and the mounting brackets that come with or sit alongside the awning. Check how the awning mounts, and look for a mounting kit in the awning accessories. If you are unsure, call (920) 249-7744.
Do I need a roof rack for an awning?
Most awnings mount to a rack, rails or crossbars, though some mount to a vehicle-specific bracket. Check the mounting method in the listing and confirm the rack you have can carry the awning's weight.
What size awning should I get?
Match the awning's coverage to how many people and how much gear you want shaded, then check that your rack and vehicle can support its length. A larger awning covers more but adds weight and wind exposure.
Are the sleep packages vehicle specific?
Many are. Vehicle-specific bed packages are built for a generation and body style, such as items made for the 2021 and newer Winnebago Revel. Universal mattresses and sheets are listed separately, so measure your sleeping space before ordering.
