Artec's rear inner fenders for the Jeep Gladiator JT close off the rear wheelwells with formed 1/16" aluminum panels that keep mud and trail debris from packing between the bed and the tire. The design relocates the EVAP canister out of the wheelwell, which buys more tire clearance than liners that leave it in place — a real difference when you are stuffing a 40 on a lifted JT. Artec's proprietary A-blade stamping stiffens the thin aluminum so the panels stay rigid, and the whole set bolts in with no welding.

How do these gain tire clearance over other inner fenders?
They relocate the EVAP canister out of the rear wheelwell instead of boxing around it. That frees up space most liners give away, so a lifted Gladiator can run a larger tire before it starts contacting the liner at full compression.
Do I need to weld anything to install them?
No. The panels are a bolt-in set that uses pressed PEM nuts, the supplied hardware, and factory mounting points. Basic hand tools handle the job, and the EVAP relocation is part of the documented install rather than custom fabrication.
Will they work with my aftermarket fenders?
Yes — they are designed to work with the factory fenders as well as most aftermarket fender kits, including trimmed OEM flares on a fender-chopped truck. If you are running an unusual flare, compare its mounting area against the wheelwell before ordering.
