Coilover Tabs for Artec Truss

$30.79

Artec's Coilover Tabs for Truss put your shock or coilover mounts out near the ends of the axle, where a wider stance does the most for stability and control. Rather than just hanging a tab off the tube, each tab bridges the gap between the inner C and an Artec front Dana 60 truss, tying two high-stress areas together so the housing resists bending while gaining an outboard mounting point. They are CNC-cut mild steel, weld-on, and offered in variants matched to specific Artec truss and axle applications. A smart add for anyone building a linked front 60 on coilovers.

Features

  • Locates coilovers or shocks near the axle ends for a wider, more stable stance
  • Bridges the inner C to the truss, reinforcing the housing across a high-stress zone
  • CNC-cut 1/4" mild steel construction
  • Weld-on design integrates permanently with Artec front 60 trusses
  • Three variants match the truss geometry: Chevy/Ford '78-'79, Ford 85-91.5/Dodge, and Rear Truss
  • Bare steel — paint or powder coat after welding to prevent rust

Order the variant that matches your axle and truss — the bridge geometry changes between applications. Mock up the tabs for your shock length, cycle the suspension to check clearance at full stuff and droop, then weld; professional welding is required. They pair with Artec front 60 trusses like the Chevy 60 Front Truss and the 60 Chevy Front Ram Mount and Truss. Browse more shock mounts and brackets and coilover parts.

Coilover Tabs for Artec Truss FAQs

Which variant do I need?

Match the variant to your axle and Artec truss: Chevy/Ford '78-'79, Ford 85-91.5/Dodge, or the Rear Truss version. The bridge geometry between the inner C and the truss changes with each application, so ordering the wrong one means the tabs will not line up. Check which Artec front 60 truss you are running before you buy.

Do these require welding?

Yes, these are weld-on tabs and professional welding is recommended. Position them for your shock length and travel, tack them in place, cycle the suspension to verify clearance at full stuff and full droop, then finish-weld. They ship as bare steel, so paint or powder coat after welding to prevent rust.

What do these tabs actually do besides holding a shock?

They bridge the gap between the inner C and the truss, tying those two areas together so the whole housing better resists bending under load. At the same time they give you a mounting point out near the axle ends — a wider shock stance that improves stability compared with inboard mounts.
