How to make a Ruff Rax claim
- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

Ruff Rax Cross Member Support Brace
A loaded bed rack carrying a rooftop tent or a pile of recovery gear will flex if it has to. This brace adds a cross member to a full-size Ruff Rax bed rack, spreading the load across the structure and reducing that flex when the rack is working hard.
It is designed to integrate with Ruff Rax full-size bed racks without crowding gear you already have mounted. The brace is heavy-duty steel with a powder-coated finish for trail vibration, daily use and weather. Browse more roof rack accessories.
