- Have your proof of purchase or sales receipt ready; OVS asks for it with every warranty claim
- Photograph the defect and note your part number before you remove or ship anything
- Contact OVS Warranty Service by phone or email (below). OVS decides whether the item is defective and, if it is, repairs or replaces it with an equivalent product
- Freight deliveries (caps, racks, tents): inspect before you sign, note any damage on the bill of lading, and report damage or missing pieces within 24 hours

Ruff Rax Roof Rack for the Silverado/Sierra 1500 (2019-2027)
A 2019-and-newer Silverado or Sierra 1500 cab roof is a good spot for a rooftop tent or a light bar, and this rack is built to do both. The Ruff Rax roof rack gives the cab an aluminum platform with channels on both sides, and you can order it with a clean fascia or one cut for a specific light bar.
It is an aluminum platform rather than steel, which keeps weight off the roof, with stainless black hardware and a textured dual-stage powder coat. The custom extrusions carry channels on both sides for Thule, Yakima, Rhino-Rack and standard T-slot accessories, and integrated holes give lights and other add-ons a place to bolt up. Made for the Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 1500, model years 2019-2027. That covers the Sierra 5th Gen (2019 - Present) and Silverado 4th Gen (2019 - Present). This one must be used with a Yakima or Thule roof rail channel system, and the spec sheet lists the mounting interface as drilling required, so plan for the channel install first or have a shop do it. The 5.7 ft Bed option is the standard fascia with no cutout. The four light bar versions have a fascia cut for a Baja Design S8, Diode Dynamics, Rigid Industries Midnight Series or Rigid Industries Original Adapt light bar. The 6.6 ft Bed option is listed by Ruff Rax for the Double Cab.
Ruff Rax rates the install at beginner level with printed instructions, but assembly is required and two people make it much easier. It comes with 5 crossbars. The noise-reduction strip is sold separately, so add it if wind noise matters to you. Check your rooftop tent or cargo weight against the 330 lb static and 660 lb dynamic limits.
