The Artec Industries Sentinel Front Bumper swaps the vulnerable factory bumper on the Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018), Wrangler JL (2018+), and Gladiator JT (2020+) for a high-clearance 3/16" steel unit that tucks in tight against the frame. Pulling the steel up and back opens your approach angle, so the nose stops catching on ledges the stock bumper would plow into. Reinforced recovery points and front-and-center light mounts are built in, and a recessed winch mount option with a fairlead opening lets you run a winch without pushing the bumper away from the frame. This is the bare-steel version, priced for builders who want to finish it their own way.

Which Jeeps does the Sentinel Front Bumper fit?
It fits the Jeep Wrangler JK and JKU (2007-2018), Wrangler JL and JLU (2018 and up), and Gladiator JT (2020 and up). The bumper bolts directly to the factory frame horns with no drilling, so a weekend install with hand tools is realistic. Confirm your model year falls in those ranges before ordering.
Can I run a winch on this bumper?
Yes. The Sentinel accepts a recessed winch mount behind its fairlead opening, which keeps the bumper tucked tight to the frame with the winch installed. The winch plate is sold separately — add the JL-JT Steel Bumper Winch Plate when you are ready, now or later.
Does the bare-steel version need to be painted?
Yes. This version ships as raw 3/16" steel so you can paint or powder coat it to match your rig, and it should be finished before it is exposed to weather or it will surface rust. If you want a ready-to-run finish out of the box, choose the black powder coat version of the Sentinel instead.
