High-performance RGB+W chips add a dedicated white channel on top of traditional ColorSHIFT RGB, so you can run hundreds of colors and patterns and switch back to a crisp white instantly. Five controller options are available.

What is the difference between the controller options?

Yes. The dedicated white LED channel produces a true white DRL and you can switch to it instantly. White and amber are the street-legal colors.
