The Artec Bellypan is the core of a 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma armor build: a continuous 1/4" 6061 aluminum floor under the oil pan, transmission, and transfer case. Where the factory hangs thin stamped guards and leaves gaps, this system forms one smooth, contoured surface so the truck slides across ledges and rocks instead of catching drivetrain components. It rides on 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets with countersunk hardware matching the OEM thread, was shaped from high-quality 3D scans, and its no-overlap layout gains ground clearance over the stock skids — all at a fraction of steel's weight.

Toyota Tacoma 3rd Gen Bellypan Skid Plate FAQs
Which Tacoma does the bellypan fit?
The 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma, 2016-2023. It was designed from 3D scans of the factory underbody and mounts with the included zinc-plated steel brackets and countersunk OEM-thread hardware — a bolt-on job with basic tools.
What does the bellypan cover, and what doesn't it?
It covers the central underbody — the oil pan, transmission, and transfer case. The fuel tank and lower A-arms are handled by separate Artec skids that integrate with this pan, or you can get all three together in the Tacoma Full Skid Plate System.
Do I have to remove the whole pan to change the oil?
No. The system includes access points for routine service, and individual sections can come off on their own when you need more room. Pressed hardware in the brackets keeps removal to a single tool.
