Toyota 4Runner 5th Gen Fuel Tank Skid 2014-2024

The gas tank on a 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner sits exposed behind the rear axle, right where ledges and loose rock like to reach up. The Artec Fuel Tank Skid wraps it in 1/4" 6061 aluminum carried on 3/16" zinc-plated steel brackets, and instead of a flat plate it uses upturned side flanges that reach into the gaps around the tank to keep debris from working in behind the armor. Designed from high-quality 3D scans and CNC formed on custom-rolled dies, it contours tight to the tank rather than sacrificing clearance, and drain holes keep water and mud from pooling inside.
