Tall Adjustable Truss Upper Link Mount

$41.99

The Tall Adjustable Truss Upper Link Mount is a weld-on bracket that puts your upper link exactly where the suspension math says it should be. CNC laser cut and bent from 1/4" mild steel, it welds to any flat surface — most often the top of an Artec axle truss — and offers three bolt positions at 2.5", 4.0", and 5.5" above the base. That extra height buys more link separation on 3-link and 4-link builds, which means better control of anti-squat and pinion angle without redesigning the whole axle. It's a universal fabrication piece, not a vehicle-specific part, aimed at builders setting up their own link geometry.

Features

  • CNC laser cut and bent from 1/4" mild steel
  • Three hole heights — 2.5", 4.0", and 5.5" above the bracket base — for adjustable geometry
  • 9/16" bolt hole fits common rod end and johnny joint hardware
  • 2.625" mounting width suits standard link joint widths
  • Taller profile adds upper link separation for better anti-squat control
  • Weld-on for a permanent, high-strength mount
  • Made in the USA

Sold as a single bracket — order two for a triangulated 4-link — and welding is required, so plan the install around a fabricator if you don't weld. It pairs naturally with the flat top of the Dana 44 Modular Rear Truss or the Sterling 10.25 Rear Short Truss, and you'll find more housing reinforcements in our axle reinforcements collection and the full Artec Industries lineup.

Tall Adjustable Truss Upper Link Mount FAQs

How many brackets do I get, and how many do I need?

Each order includes one single bracket. A 3-link upper typically uses one wide joint between a pair of brackets or a double-shear setup, while a triangulated 4-link needs two upper mounts — count your joints and order accordingly. The bracket has a 9/16" bolt hole and a 2.625" mounting width, so confirm your rod ends match before welding anything.

What does the adjustability actually adjust?

The bracket carries three hole heights at 2.5", 4.0", and 5.5" above the base. Moving the link between them changes upper link separation and angle, which shifts anti-squat and helps you fine-tune pinion angle through travel. That range is the reason to pick the tall version over a standard-height mount.

Is welding required, and where does it mount?

Yes — this is a weld-on bracket meant for a flat surface, most commonly the top plate of an Artec axle truss. It should be welded by someone with fabrication experience since the upper link feeds real suspension loads through it. It ships as bare steel, so paint it after installation.
