High Clearance Rear Bumper Center Section for Jeep Gladiator JT 2020+

$1,499.99

The High Clearance Rear Bumper Center Section is the foundation of Artec Industries' Bantam Series modular rear bumper for the Jeep Gladiator JT. Laser-cut and formed from 3/16" steel in the USA, it tucks tight to the frame and buys back roughly 6.5" of ground clearance under the tail of the truck — the difference between rolling off a ledge and hanging the stock bumper on it. Run the center section alone for a minimalist high-clearance rear end, or build it out over time with corner pods, a winch/fairlead plate, a 2" receiver, and bash skids. Choose raw steel to finish yourself or powder coat ready to install.

Features

  • Laser-cut and formed 3/16" steel for real impact resistance
  • Adds approximately 6.5" of rear ground clearance over the factory bumper for a steeper departure angle
  • Integrated tow-hook option for solid recovery points
  • Modular platform accepts optional corner pods, winch/fairlead plate (winches to roughly 10,000 lb), and 2" receiver
  • Direct bolt-on to the Gladiator frame
  • Powder coated (JT9117) or raw steel (JT0117) finish options
  • Made in the USA

Fits the Jeep Gladiator JT, 2020 and up, replacing the factory rear bumper at the frame. If you take the raw-steel option, get paint or powder coat on it before installation. Grow the system with the standard corner pods or the more aggressive comp corner pods, protect the finish with the replaceable center bash skid, and see the rest of the rear bumpers collection.

High Clearance Rear Bumper Center Section for Jeep Gladiator JT 2020+ FAQs

Can I run the center section by itself?

Yes. The center section is a complete, self-contained bumper that bolts directly to the Jeep Gladiator JT frame (2020-present) after the factory bumper is removed. The corner pods, winch/fairlead plate, 2" receiver, and bash skid are all optional add-ons you can bolt on later as the build evolves.

How much clearance does it actually add?

Approximately 6.5" of ground clearance under the rear of the truck compared to the factory bumper. Because the section tucks up tight against the frame, the practical result is a much steeper departure angle — the tail clears ledges and breakovers the stock bumper would drag on.

Can it handle a winch and towing?

Yes, with the optional hardware. A winch/fairlead mounting plate supports winches up to roughly 10,000 lb, and a bolt-on 2" receiver is available for towing and hitch-based recovery. An integrated tow-hook option covers strap recoveries. All of these mount to the center section and are sold separately.
