The TeraFlex JK Front Upper Shock Extension Kit is a simple bolt-on fix for a common lift-kit side effect: factory-length shocks that run out of room once the suspension is raised. The studs bolt to the shock posts and extend the shocks down, which helps restore the extended and collapsed lengths the shocks were designed to work within on a 2 to 2.5 inch lift.
TeraFlex calls it a must for restoring proper handling on a lifted JK Wrangler or Unlimited. It is a small part, but it matters if you are keeping your stock-length shocks on a mild lift rather than buying longer ones.
Fitment
Fits the Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018), two-door and Unlimited. It is intended for factory-length shocks on a 2 to 2.5 inch lift. Important exclusion: these front upper extension studs are not compatible with Falcon Performance Shocks, so if you run or plan to run Falcon shocks, skip this kit.
