This is a replacement rear output yoke made to fit the tail shaft of the TeraFlex NP231 Short Shaft Kits (TJ/YJ/XJ part 4444401, XJ Cherokee part 4444402). It is a wear-and-replace part, for owners who already run a TeraFlex short shaft kit and need the yoke itself.
A short shaft kit moves the driveshaft connection to the transfer case, which is why the yoke is its own part with its own fit: it is sized for that kit's tail shaft, not for a stock NP231 output shaft. If you are not running one of the TeraFlex kits named above, this is the wrong part.
The vendor lists it for TJ, YJ and XJ applications, so one yoke covers the Wrangler and Cherokee kits named in the product description. Match your kit number before ordering if you are not sure what is on the Jeep.
