What's covered
- Defects in material and craftsmanship on the part's structure, for as long as the original purchaser owns it

- Improper installation, alteration, abuse, neglect or accidents
- Corrosion and normal wear
- Off-road damage (with some exceptions RCI decides case by case)
- Freight, labor, installation or downtime costs
- Hook marks from hanging parts for coating, unless the finish fails
How to make an RCI warranty claim
- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

A pothole or a rock ledge can hurt a lot of expensive parts at the front of a Ranger. This RCI engine skid plate protects the EPAS power steering unit, front differential, front cross-member, engine and engine bay, intercooler and lower control arm mounts.
It has six mounting points and bolts to the OEM frame brackets, so it does not get in the way of bumpers or winches. The two-piece design lets you remove subsections for maintenance, and a cutout gives access to the oil drain plug.
Fitment
Fits 2019-2023 Ford Ranger. It may not be compatible with all 4" or taller lift kits.
Options and weight
3/16" steel with RCI's black epoxy powder coating weighs 70 lbs. 1/4" aluminum weighs 35 lbs, and can be had bare or in satin black powdercoat.
Install notes
It bolts to existing factory attachment points with no drilling, and a hardware kit is included. Made in the USA.
