The catalytic converters under a Colorado sit exposed to rocks, debris and thieves. This RCI guard is cut from 12 gauge steel on a CNC laser and fitted to the 2023 and newer Colorado, covering the converters without a lot of fuss. It also works as a theft deterrent when paired with RCI's transmission skid plate.
The design is vented for airflow and heat dissipation, and the surface is smooth and flat so it slides over obstacles. RCI says it ties in with its front and transfer-case skid plates and is compatible with the OEM skid plates. It is made in the USA and weighs about 8 lbs shipped.
