M.O.R.E. Polyurethane Body Mounts - Jeep CJ5 / CJ7 1976-1979

If your CJ still rides on its original rubber body mounts, they are probably cracked, dried out and doing a poor job of holding the tub where it belongs. M.O.R.E.'s replacement mounts are a polyurethane compound formulated to give a little — so the body can move with the frame — while standing up to hard off-road use.

M.O.R.E. says these mounts will not squeak and will not put undue stress on the body tub. They come in black only and fit the 1976-1979 Jeep CJ5 and CJ7.

One thing to plan for: the kit does not include the factory steel tube and washer that sit inside each stock mount. You reuse those from your old rubber mounts, so pull them carefully and clean them up before reassembly. Old body bolts on a 40-plus-year-old Jeep can be seized, so soak them with penetrant a day ahead and have replacements on hand in case one snaps.

One warranty note: M.O.R.E. treats polyurethane as a wear item, so the mounts fall outside the RockProof Lifetime coverage.
