M.O.R.E. Oil Pan / Transmission Skid Plate (Aluminum) - Jeep Wrangler TJ 2003-2006 / LJ 2004-2006 4.0L

On a 4.0L TJ or LJ, the oil pan, the transmission and the exhaust crossover tube all hang low in the same neighborhood. The crossover tube in particular will get flattened on the rocks without protection. M.O.R.E.'s combination skid plate covers all three with one combination plate.

This one is aluminum, the mounting arms are 1/4" plate, and it uses the factory bolt locations. It has an oil drain access hole so you can do oil changes without pulling it, and you can order it bare aluminum or powder coated Pure Black. Aluminum is the lighter material for a skid plate; the trade is that it costs more than steel.

It fits 2003-2006 TJ and 2004-2006 LJ Wranglers with the 4.0L six and the factory exhaust. M.O.R.E. designed it on a Rubicon, so non-Rubicon Jeeps may need some lift to clear the upper control arms. With an aftermarket front axle, check driver-side clearance at full stuff; the fins on the center section may need clearancing.

M.O.R.E. makes aluminum skid plates to order and says they may need up to 10 business days before shipping. For 1997-2002 TJs, M.O.R.E. makes a separate version.
