This is ICON's V.S. 3.0 Series remote reservoir bolt-in coilover conversion kit with CDCV, for 4WD Ford Super Duty trucks. Swapping the factory front setup for coilovers is meant to raise the truck's overall damping ability while giving you user-defined ride height adjustment. This version is rated for 4-5.5" of lift.
The 3.0 Series has 50% more piston surface area than the 2.5 Series, which ICON links to better stability and vehicle control at the extremes of off-road use, with benefits on the street as well. More oil volume and external surface area help shed heat and resist fade under hard use. The shocks are 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable.
ICON's Compression Damping Control Valves are included. CDCV controls fluid flow under compression so you can tune for the street, slow rock crawling or fast desert running.
