This kit puts a 50-inch Baja Designs S8 LED light bar on the roof of a Wrangler JK, using a custom mount set designed for the JK so the truck keeps its OEM look. It is a full-width light for the trail: a single long bar gives broad, even coverage across the whole windshield width rather than two separate spot beams.
The mounts are adjustable, so you can aim the bar after it is on the roof, and Baja Designs describes them as built to withstand hard use. The S8 is the scalloped-housing bar in the Baja Designs line. The bar uses 5000K daylight LEDs in a sealed, submersible-rated housing, with replaceable lenses and optics through uService.
Backed by a 30-day satisfaction guarantee and a limited lifetime warranty.
Fitment
Listed for the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. Baja Designs notes that any roof-mounted light adds some wind noise, and how much depends on the vehicle and the other accessories on it.
Install notes
The mount set is designed for easy installation on the JK. Expect to aim and tighten the bar after mounting; the vendor does not publish a full parts list or drilling details for this listing.
