Tube Adapter 3/4"-16 TPI for 1.0" ID / 1.5" OD Tube
For the lighter links and rods on a build — upper links, track bar ends, sway bar links, small steering rods — this weld-in tube adapter converts 1.0" ID / 1.5" OD tubing into a clean adjustable assembly around 3/4"-16 TPI rod ends. It carries the same machining details as Artec's bigger adapters: a snug ID fit that adds strength to the welded joint, full-length threads, a weld-ready bevel, and wrench flats so length changes do not require pliers on the tube.
Features
- 3/4"-16 TPI thread accepts 3/4" rod ends
- Sized for 1.0" ID / 1.5" OD tubing with a tight, strength-adding fit
- Full-length threading for positive rod end engagement
- Beveled edge welds without grinding; flat land on the OD keeps the weld edge square
- Machined wrench flats for simple adjustment
- Offered in right-hand (standard) and left-hand (reverse) thread
- CNC-machined steel, made in the USA
Universal fabrication hardware — verify your tube's 1.0" inside diameter before ordering, and run one right-hand and one left-hand adapter per link for turnbuckle-style adjustability. Lock each rod end with the matching 3/4"-16 TPI Jam Nut. Heavier joints step up to the 7/8"-14 TPI adapter in the same tube size or the 1.25"-12 TPI adapter for 2.0" OD links. Welding required.
Tube Adapter 3/4"-16 TPI for 1.0" ID / 1.5" OD Tube FAQs
What tube size does this adapter fit?
It is machined for tubing with a 1.0" inside diameter and 1.5" outside diameter. The body seats tightly in the bore, which stiffens the welded joint, and the OD matches the tube face for a flush transition. Measure your tube's actual ID before ordering.
What is this size best suited for?
3/4"-16 rod ends suit the lighter jobs on a build — upper links on light rigs, track bar and sway bar links, and small steering rods. For heavier suspension links, step up to Artec's 7/8"-14 adapter in the same tube size or the 1.25"-12 adapter for 2.0" OD tube.
How do I make the finished link adjustable and keep it tight?
Weld a right-hand adapter into one end and a left-hand into the other. The link then adjusts by rotating the tube, and each rod end locks in place with a matching 3/4"-16 jam nut tightened against the adapter. Welding is required for installation.
