Tube Adapter 1.25"-12 TPI for 1.5" ID / 2.0" OD Tube

$25.29

This CNC-machined tube adapter is how a length of 2.0" OD heavy-wall tube becomes a serious suspension link. It welds into tubing with a 1.5" inside diameter and accepts a 1.25"-12 TPI rod end, giving you a lower link or control arm strong enough for one-ton swaps and full-width axles. The machining details matter: the insert's tight ID fit adds weld strength, the OD matches the tube face for a stepless look, and the beveled edge means you weld it without grinding first.

Features

  • 1.25"-12 TPI thread accepts 1.25" rod ends
  • Fits 1.5" ID / 2.0" OD tube — the ID seats tight for added weld strength
  • Full-length threading for maximum positive thread engagement
  • Beveled weld edge needs no grinding; flat land on the OD keeps the weld off an angled surface
  • Machined wrench flats for easy length adjustment and a clean look
  • Right-hand (standard) and left-hand (reverse) thread options
  • CNC-machined steel, made in the USA

This is universal fabrication hardware — confirm your tubing measures 1.5" ID and 2.0" OD before ordering. For an adjustable link, weld a right-hand adapter in one end and a left-hand in the other so the assembly works like a turnbuckle, then lock each joint with the 1.25"-12 TPI Jam Nut. Smaller links use the 7/8"-14 TPI or 3/4"-16 TPI adapters. Welding is required — more link hardware lives in suspension components.

Tube Adapter 1.25"-12 TPI for 1.5" ID / 2.0" OD Tube FAQs

What tubing do I need for this adapter?

Tube with a 1.5" inside diameter and 2.0" outside diameter — typical heavy-wall DOM link material. The adapter's body seats tightly in the bore for weld strength and its OD matches the tube face, so measure your tube's actual ID before ordering.

Do I need one adapter or two per link?

Two — one per end. Use a right-hand adapter on one end and a left-hand on the other so the finished link adjusts like a turnbuckle: turning the tube changes length without unthreading either rod end. Lock both ends with 1.25"-12 jam nuts once set.

How is it installed?

It is a weld-in insert. Slide it into the prepared tube end and weld around the joint — the beveled edge eliminates pre-grinding and the flat land on the OD keeps the weld edge off an angled surface. Welding should be done by someone competent with structural suspension work.
