Prinsu Design Studio FAQs
Where is Prinsu based?
Prinsu Design Studio is in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and builds its racks with an in-house engineering and fabrication team.
What's the difference between drill and non-drill Prinsu racks?
Both work similarly. The drilled version adds a fixed mounting point, which Prinsu recommends for heavier loads such as rooftop tents.
How much weight can a Prinsu rack carry?
Prinsu doesn't publish an official weight rating, but says its racks have held about 600 lb static and 300 lb dynamic in field testing.
How long until my Prinsu rack ships?
Current estimates are about 2 weeks for Original roof and top racks, about 5 weeks for Prinsu Pro racks and 1–2 weeks for accessories. These are estimates, not guarantees.
Will a Prinsu rack interfere with my sunroof?
No. The racks are designed not to touch sunroofs, though the rack may block some light.
How long is the Prinsu warranty?
Prinsu-made parts carry a limited lifetime warranty for the original retail buyer, and hardware kits get 1 year. The powder-coat finish isn't covered.
