Coachbuilder Hardware Kit | Flange Nuts for Two-Shim Installs, TRD Pro Compatible | Fits Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser 2005+ & Tundra 1999–2006 | Ekstrom Design
Not every shim install needs new bolts — on setups that keep the OE-style studs, the factory collar nuts are what stand in the way. This Coachbuilder hardware kit for the 2005+ Tacoma, 4Runner, and FJ Cruiser and the 1999–2006 Tundra replaces all six OE collar nuts with standard-style hardened flange nuts, allowing two shims to be installed. It's compatible with TRD Pro coilovers, covers both sides of the truck, and is the cheapest line on a ride-height build sheet.

ADS, Fox 2.5, Icon 2.5, and King setups take the SAE 3/8" Coilover Bolt Kit, while Eibach and Old Man Emu BP51 coilovers take the Metric M10 kit.
Coachbuilder Hardware Kit | Flange Nuts for Two-Shim Installs, TRD Pro Compatible | Fits Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser 2005+ & Tundra 1999–2006 | Ekstrom Design FAQs
What does this hardware kit actually do?
It replaces the six OE collar nuts on your coilover studs with standard-style hardened flange nuts, allowing two Coachbuilder shims to be installed. One kit covers both sides of a 2005+ Tacoma, 4Runner, or FJ Cruiser, or a 1999-2006 Tundra — the collar-nut swap is the whole job.
Is it compatible with TRD Pro coilovers?
Yes — Coachbuilder states this kit is compatible with TRD Pro coilovers. Because it works on setups that retain the OE-style studs and collar nuts, TRD Pro owners on a 2005+ Tacoma, 4Runner, or FJ Cruiser or a 1999-2006 Tundra can swap in the flange nuts and run two shims.
Do I need this kit or one of the bolt kits?
It depends on what holds your coilovers in. If your setup keeps the OE-style studs and collar nuts — including TRD Pro coilovers — this nut kit is the one. If you're running ADS, Fox 2.5 Series, Icon 2.5 Series, or King coilovers, use the SAE 3/8" Coilover Bolt Kit; Eibach and Old Man Emu BP51 coilovers take the Metric M10 kit.
