Blank Aluminum Rear Corner Armor for Jeep Wrangler TJ 1997-2006
The TJ Blank Rear Corner Armor is 3/16" aluminum protection for the rear quarters of a Wrangler TJ, supplied with the wheel well left uncut. If you have stretched the wheelbase, moved the rear axle, or gone to a tire size the factory opening never anticipated, a pre-contoured corner will not line up — the blank panel lets you cut the opening exactly where your tire actually lives. It bolts over the thin factory sheet metal with no welding and shields the corners from rock rash and trail damage. This is the corner armor built for modified TJs rather than stock ones.

What does "blank" mean on this corner armor?
The wheel-well opening is not pre-cut. You trim it yourself to match your tire size and axle position, which is exactly what a stretched-wheelbase or custom-suspension TJ needs — a factory-contoured opening would sit in the wrong place. Mock up the tire at ride height and full compression before cutting.
Do I need to weld anything?
No. The panels bolt on with the included hardware and no drilling is required — the only fabrication is trimming the wheel-well opening to suit your build. A jigsaw or cutoff wheel and a steady layout line get it done.
Should I buy the blank or the standard version?
Buy blank if your wheelbase is stretched, your rear axle has moved, or your tire sits outside the stock opening. If the rear axle is in the factory location, the TJ Standard Rear Corner Armor has the wheel well pre-contoured to the OEM opening and installs without any cutting.
