Nighthawk Front Bumper with Aluminum Skid for Jeep JK, JL & JT
Artec’s Nighthawk front bumper covers the Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018), JL (2018+), and Gladiator JT (2020+) with heavy, full-width armor in a low, clean profile — no hoop, no clutter, just protection. It carries a winch on a 1/4″ formed plate backed by internal gussets, hangs recovery shackles from 3/4″ alloy steel mounts, and closes off the underside with a bolt-on 1/4″ aerospace-aluminum rock guard that keeps total weight in check. Every contour comes from 3D scan data, so tires clear and approach angle stays sharp.
Features
- Full-width protection cut from 1/4″, 3/16″, and 1/8″ CNC laser-cut steel
- 1/4″ formed winch plate with internal gusseting mounts most winches
- 3/4″-thick high-strength alloy steel shackle mounts
- Included 1/4″ aerospace-aluminum rock guard skid — bolts on, no drilling
- Cut for LED square-style or OEM LED fog lights
- 3D-scanned contours maximize approach angle and tire clearance
- Bare steel or black powder coat; made in the USA
One part number fits JK, JL, and JT; plastic-bumper JK trims run LED or JK-style aftermarket fog lights only, and bare-steel bumpers need paint or powder coat before install. Nighthawk Front Bumper with Aluminum Skid for Jeep JK, JL & JT FAQs
Which Jeeps does the Nighthawk fit?
The Wrangler JK and JKU (2007-2018), Wrangler JL and JLU (2018+), and Gladiator JT (2020+). It is one design engineered from 3D scans of all three platforms, so the same bumper works across a multi-Jeep garage.
Is the aluminum skid included, and does it need drilling?
Yes, the 1/4″ aerospace-aluminum rock guard skid comes with the bumper, and no — Artec designed the mounting so it bolts on with no drilling required. Aluminum here saves meaningful weight over an equivalent steel skid.
How should I handle the bare steel finish option?
Bare steel is for builders who want to color-match their rig — it must be painted or powder coated before hitting weather, or it will surface-rust. If you would rather bolt on a finished part, choose the black powder coat version.
